hi all, myself and paulscorp have a "M" 2.5 turbo diesel ultima saloon in astor? grey for sale, or will possibly break depending on interest.

we purchased the vehicle early this year (still had 8 months mot at the time) with a suspect head faliure, we sourced a new head, and thats as far as we got due to other work commitments, and it wont get it done this year now,so its gotta go! car drove fine at motorway speeds, but sounded like a tank when idling/low speeds, we believe the fault to have been a head gasket(4 different gaskets, but got the spare head to be sure.)

car is clean for year, not damaged in any way
whole car stands us in 185 squid, open too offers. will need to be trailored away.

if there is enough interest, we will strip it, but would prefer to see whole car go as one (we've broke two, and cant be arsed to go through it again! :o...but will if needs be)

If you break it i'd like the Turbo/clutch plate/coolant reservoir/alternator please ;D

Hi Russ, does it have any tax or MOT left on it at all? Whats the mileage like?

matt, no tax, may have a little mot, will have to dig it out :o
mileage around 160,000, with some history and bills.

If the Oil cooler (horizontal under bumper) and the Radiator are in Good nick then give me first refusal on them please.

P.S Paul - that auto-dim mirror and remote plip you sold me a few months ago are working a treat.

hi Tony, yes. still got the manifold, we will decide on fri/sat if we are going to break it (most probably) and will start dismantling on sunday.

Hi ill be intrested in part of the wireing loom that comes from the fuse box onthe left hand side and ends up on the washer bottle on the right hand side also takes in the glow plugs and three connectors to the engine and a pats box if you do not understand give me a ring on 07751288058 thanks Roy

hi all,

firstly can i offer you my sincere apologies for being unable to respond to your pm's and emails for the last month, i have been unable to gain any internet access due to some thing bug/trojan that has installed itself into my mcafee firewall plus???, therefore no cleanups or spyware could find the file affected, i still have this problem, but after much head scratching have figured out that i can gain internet access, only when i disable this firewall. (pretty sure im safe here)

i owe you all a second apology too, as during this time, i had no option but lose the car, as i got reported for starting to break this car, which goes against the tenancy agreement (no major car repairs), i guess the neighbours had had enough, as it is the third scorp we started to break, i kinda half knew it was going to happen, as the people who grassed were getting nutsty about the last one, hence why we wanted to get rid of it in one go! all we managed to remove were bumpers and lights :'(

i am really sorry everyone, i just wish i could turn the clock back and give the car to someone, it was a simple repair job, and sadly i guess its a cube now
