yes I have a crane so that should be easy....I would have thought it would fit in the back of the estate, if I take off thje front pipes, that should narrow it down... I would try if it was me !!! yes I've got the 2 headlights, and the boot popper and wiring.....make me a reasonable offer..... I will leave as much wiring past the connectors (car side ) so you can seperate at your leisure.... |

sadly its the same old story, guy had it for sale for £1200, no bites, then gradually reduced it to £700...I had a look at it for a friend who bought it but then found out he couldn't insure it !!! for less than £1500 tft...so I stepped in as I need some bits and pieces for mine and 'took his eyes out'.... well he owed me some money for some work done.....but I currently have in the stable 2X Scorps,2 X RS1800 Fiestas, 1 X Rover SD! and the wifes ST150, so where am I going to put it? The tax runs out tonight. Its worth more to me as bits than to try and sell complete. what bits do you need? cheap prices to members as this will keep others on the road. |

Title: Re: 24v Cosworth Ultima Post by Matt on Sep 30th, 2006, 9:11pm Twin Turbo, yes it will fit in a estate, (ive collected a couple of engines, using a trailer though) but i'd recomend using your trailer, the weight of these units is unbelieveable, and they arnt that easy to manhandle, and if using a block and tackle or simlar, then the tailgate will make it akward to then push into the car with out damaging the tailgate or surrounding boot trim just my thoughts on the matter although it looks like im a bit late posting this ... matt :) p.s. bertie, where abouts are you? im in b'ham |

Title: Re: 24v Cosworth Ultima Post by twinturbo on Sep 30th, 2006, 9:24pm He's in Sunderland ( Newcastle ( the real one!! )). My trailer is 5M long and weighs a rather fule unfreindly 350KG~~ So if I don't have to use it I wont. I have a crane, he has a crane... Booot here we come... Will have to put some planks down to save the boot floor though.. TT |
