I am now forced to break my 2.3 Ultima. Its a 97, P reg in silver. 270,000 miles. Head gasket gone, and i believe now the TPS, as its now dead and wont start. Had a few minor bits off it for my cossie, but most of its there, Paintwork was somewhat scabby in places, (REMOTE gone to my cossie, sorry). No cracks in bumper, but not perfect paint by any means, New green windsceen, full used but good exhaust system and sorted ABS for recent MOT (just before it died(bummer)).

Ask me what you need and we can haggle from there. Major parts will/may need removing by buyer as work leaves me a bit short of time. I can take any pics and email if needed. Wheels are not standard but sportier crossover spoke type with tyres about 1/2 worn.

don't suppose it's a facelift saloon is it ?? - if it is I'm looking for the drivers side rear lamp unit.

But I could also do with the auto box cooler pipe that goes from the main rad around to the little oil cooler at the very front

Bizzay1 Vospers had that pipe 6 months ago as I bought one of the two they had.

Its an early 97 non faceflift.

I need an SATC module, (semi automatic temperature control module), and an outside Temperature sensor (they are nos 11 and 14 in the diagram on the air con pages of the site.

Parts Required
Description      Finis Code
Air conditioning module   1 017 462
Outside temperature sensor  1 017 135

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, i still have both those and will pop them off and check the numbers tomorrow but should be no compatablity probs.

Got the SATC controller off. (cant find any finis code).
Not yet found the outside temp sensor. ( well, i may have but it looks different from the pics on the site so maybe i found the wrong item)

Sorry. Due to the head gasket blowing All 3 inlet manifolds i fitted all cracked on the thermostat housing section.

The reason being....I would like to try to repair it while off the car rather than on  :)

Next weekend i go to get a scrap yard to collect whats left of the car. Its a pain, but i have to have it off the property within 2 weeks from today.

Still lots of parts on the car and on Ebay. Shame to waste them

As far as i remember, both switched had the light come on. £7 the pair inc postage if you're interested.

Ian I am intrested but its the green panel light thta illumimates which windscreen is turned on that counts.  Mine work but only the ornage light and it it is hard to find them when you need to turn on in the dark.  If both lights work, yes I will take how do you want to be paid?

Yes, i apprecate that, and as i said, i am pretty sure that they both illuminated, but cant check again for sure now. I will try to check them out tomorrow and try to get a voltage to the correct light and see if it illuminates.

Don't suppose you have the drivebelt, tensioner and or air con pump ? My car has had its first break in 2 years and is having a rest until i find these bits !!

Drive belt is there, but has had a long life and shows it. Tensioner is no problem. Air con pump started rattling on its front bearing but was working OK.
Thermostat housing is sold.

The seats are still in the car and all the wiring intact.
However, it never had heated seats. (or at least it never had switches to operate them)
I can check to see if the wiring for the switches is there, but wont be able to get the seats out to get at the wiring underneath till the weekend.

It is currently still fitted to the wood dash and is on Ebay. Not much chance of it selling it seems so the bit you want should be available.

Well, the old girl finally got taken away by the scrapper, and is no more.

I removed a hell of a lot of stuff off of her, so please feel free to keep asking for parts you want.

The guy who won the Wood effect dash has not made contact after 5 days so the vent bits could be yours still Dave, but i have to give him till Sunday by Ebay rules so will let you know.
Funny thing is, he only lives about 5 miles from me (according to Ebay checkout).

You would not have towed the shell anywhere, as it had no wheels or even hubs by the time the scrapper lifted it onto the back of his lorry. However, it went to D&B motors at Dunkirk if you want to check it out. (assuming they havn't weighed it in yet)

I have a bulb dangling on the end of a wire at the moment, I think it is just a black plastic wedge and clear plastic lens assembly. I'll check tomorrow.

I think the clear plasic lens fits into the seat hinge. Not sure if i had any other parts (apart from the bulb of course). Email me your address and i'll send you a lens though.

I have the drivers mirror assembly still (O/S) but it is aubergine in colour rather than the silver that the rest of the car was.

I am looking for a climate control dashboard control unit and the SATC module it connects to. I have replaced both on mine from different sources and can not get them to work together.

If your climate control is/was working and the re-set procedure worked I would be interested.

Any help would be appreciated.

I still have the climate control dash unit but the LH LCD is cracked. It worked fine though. SATC sold.
