Title: Watson Automotive/Powercraft STOCK CLEAROUT !!
Post by SaveTheNight on Mar 21st, 2007, 1:59pm
Hi all .. we have moved premises now as many of you will know and desperately need room in containers and compound ..so we are wondering whether some of you would be interested in a group purchase as many forums do. We have many part completed exhaust systems for all models and will do a " site member " price for 10 flexi back systems in stainless steel with choice of tails, life guaranteed as all our systems are and including all hangars and poly mounting bushes and clamps. The cost per system will be £300 delivered and inclusive for all Ultima models and you can choose your noise levels prior to us completing them. I refer to flexi back because again as some will know we only use top quality i-lock stainless flexis in our systems, so to add 2 flexies to a cosworth system would cost over £100.00 for that item. PM me if you are interested but I point out again that our systems are much more expensive than this and we will only take the time to finish building the systems if ten people are ordering.. so i'm sorry if it seems a little unfair to someone who may want one and only say 6 people do ..but we can only make that price for ten ...see what you reckon anyway . If the buy takes place then ten percent of the FULL price will go to the site running via admin. Hope it helps people anyway ... regards STN

ps. We are also clearing about ten Scorps from the compound of which 5 are Cosworths < one estate > but again PM me if anyone is interested as we cannot leave ourselves with loads of bits when all of the cars are perhaps rebuildable. If there is enough commitment from members for us to cover time and costs again then breaking will be an option ..your views to me by PM please and I will consider options and let you all know what response we get. Sorry again to be a touch perdantic but I say again, we cannot break cars for a few parts and leave ourselves with no room as we are now.

Cheers again everyone and apologies for not being on site much lately, hopefully that may change again soon when we are a little more organised down here .... STN

<in response to a couple of questions all of our systems are TIG and stainless MIG welded and in mainly top grade 316 or part 304 stainless steel, so are the brackets >

Hi

A couple of questions.

What sections are included?
What effect does the noise level have & how does the quitest compare to a standard system?

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave ..whisper quiet upwards ... although most who request graunchy then sometimes go back to quieter later ..so generally we advise raunchy tickover acceleration but no drone and motorway quiet.. sections depend on the model and most convenient for your own requirements .. generally though .. say 24v .. flange rear of the flexies back to centre boxes.. and rear section with tails .. alternatively it would be front after cats ..middle section ..and rear box and tail or tails .. cheers .... hey

im thinking of doing the full system on my cossie as i have a whacking big hole in one of the cats.

id be looking to replace both cats, and the full exhaust system so it's less restrictive, and maybe a 5"x3" oval back box for a little added noise ;)

what sort of price would i be looking at

cheers

Hi Matt .. it would be the price quoted < if part of a group purchase > plus £100 for the stainless I-lock flexi section < they are used on our race stuff and don't degrade > and you can add £300 plus for cats both sides including fitting kits, gaskets, studs and nuts etc. That is for pattern cats. I have seen some cats cheaper on the site here < I seem to remember a company called ses or sas and were under a hundred quid each ?> but have no experience of their fitment or quality .... cheers ........STN

Mobile number is still the same.. and yes you do have to bow... but while its you; not all the way down.

Quick funny story, after me and Connor visited you last year, every time I get the car on the ramps or do some work on it, Connor comes out and helps and pretends to be "Bill"... I do worry!!

Get in touch and lets see if we can get those stainless bits sorted!

Baz

Oh and Daves fine... still grumpy!!

i can get the cats for £60 odd a side and can fit them myself so no worries there i'll be droping the exhaust off the car soon as it's being reshelled, so might just do the back box

how much to knock up one, say with a 5"x3" oval and have the arms welded in the right spot for the rubber supports?

i take it it would be a cut the old one off and a slide on clamp setup on the new one with some exhaust putty round it?
