Title: Parts Clearance
Post by TVR_TASMIN on Jun 3rd, 2007, 10:52am
I need to clear some space in one of my garages so the hoard of Scorpio parts has got to go.
Most parts came from two sub 90K mile Cosworths of the 1995 vintage.

Air con radiator £10
Differential £40
Both exhaust manifolds £20
Speedo head unit £30
Leather Steering wheel with airbag complete £25
Airbox £20
AFM £15
Front brake calipers £20 each.

Other parts to list but haven't got to the back of the garage yet.

Sorry no Cosworth engine parts or multi spoke alloys before anybody asks.

Ian

Is the air con condenser (rad) definitely OK?

If it is I will definitely take it if you are within reasonable driving distance from me (North Bucks.).

Do you have any good CAT's and flexi pipes for the Cossie?

Hi DJ.
I can take a photo of it if you want.
I am oop North so postage would be needed. Wouldn't have thought it would be much.

I've also a load of pipework and a thing that looks like a WWI bomb but without the fins.

I sold the cats a long while back. The only exhaust bits i have are a pair of manifolds.

PM me your email address for the photo.

Hi TVR,

thanks for your offer of a photo however this really serves no purpose my friend.  A pressure test is what is required, which most AC places will do FOC ;)

HI DJ.
The aircon worked fine before breaking the car.
Don't think i have the time to visit any aircon specialists even if the test is free.Sorry.

Hi there
Does it have vented disks at the back?
If it does what do you want for a complete passenger side rear caliper?
I am in Merseyside.
Email me if you want.

Bob

If you are prepared to pay for my time involved in having the heat exchanger tested then i might reconsider.
Can't say fairer than that. ;D

While I would never impose myself on others, or expect anything for nothing, paying someone to simply drop off a rad at a local AC specialist for a free test is somethign I would not stretch to,...but I do appreciate that not everyone lives near to a AC specialist so I do think it's best to pass.

Of course another option would be for me to have the condenser sent FOC so I can go to my AC specialist and have it tested, then if it tests OK and gets a clean bill of health then I would agree to buy (at a pre-discussed and mutually agreeable price) ;)

I have a few other bits of aluminium lying around so it would probably be worth more in scrap value to be honest. :-X
