Title: Complete 1995 2.0 Ultima Estate
Post by allenjames on Jul 31st, 2007, 9:46am
Insurance Assesor just told me that after my excess comes out of my claim, I will walk away with £300.

The car has been driven in flood - so the engine is broken but.....

New steering rack fitted 6 months ago.
New cat fitted 4 months ago.
4 new tyres (Pirelli) fitted 6 months ago.
Leather interior in good condition.
Roller cover/Boot Blind present.
1 New remote control, 1 slightlly worn remote.
All the electrical toys work.
4x ford floor mats.
Rubber boot mat.
6x cd changer and head unit.
Interior mirror works and no leaks.

Anyone here want to offer me £300 and tow it away ?

Hi!
Do you have a HBC for sale?   (for my CC).
I live in Sweden but it is a very small part and very easy to remove.
Mr Walker.

it needs to go all at once really - i just moved house and dont have the time to take bits off.

If it doesnt all go together, then my only option is to let the insurance company take it away :(

How quickly do you need it moved Allen?

Well it is taxed until the end of august - so i guess within 4 weeks.

I am currently transfering the cherished plate.

I would need payment "in advance" though because if Im selling it instead of claiming on insurance I will need to let them know and I dont want the hassle of having to chase the insurance company if the "sale" falls through.

After Direct line informed me that if i claim my premium will go up by £150 a year and I will lose 2 years no claims - I have cancelled my claim.

The car is here complete for offers around £300.

Or I may be willing to split it into parts if I can make near that amount.

What colour is the leather, and is it fully electrically adjustable? (Ultima - so I guess it is) :)

What colour is the trim around the dash (mine has terrible walnut stuff everywhere)

Are the tyres 225/50 16s?

What colour is the front bumper and what condition is it please?

Front seats, defo black leather, some slight cracking of leather on drivers side support of drivers seat - £50 the pair - you will need to collect though before its dragged away to be completely stripped by highlander.

front bumper is aubergine.
No cracks, scuffs.

Highlander collected my car tonight......shed a tear when it was towed off.

I dont know what his plans are for it - any further enquiries should contact him.

The poor bloke looked broken - he left his house at 6am this morning I think and got here about 7pm with a 400 mile drive home ahead of him.

Cheers Highlander, there are 2x beers in the back of the passenger seat map pocket.

Although scorpioless, I will still be checking in.....

Allen

he paid me with some weird looking money though !

Highlander paid me £10 more than I was asking - the bloke is a diamond !

Anyhow, as a gesture of my thanks, I would like to match his overpayment and donate £20 to the running of the site.

Snoopy - please let me know how to send it

I havent got the printer setting right yet ;)

Stopped at a travel lodge and drove home the next day Allen ;)

The old transit still can hit a steady 70 while towing a Scorpio estate ;)
