My 24v 2.9 Cossie failed its MOT by a wide margin, so had to be scrapped. :(

I have a few parts left over from it, which I would like to donate to the community. I have:

2 remote key fobs, aircon compressor, water pump, headlight glass, front grill, plastic air filter manifold, rubber door & boot seals and complete tail light fitting.

Here's the deal. The bits are free to anybody who has use for them. I can't be bothered to post, so the lucky scorpio owner will have to collect from my house in Sheffield. Lucky person takes the lot - I'm not messing around with dribs and drabs.

I hope these can be of use to somebody, in keeping another cossie on the road.

Crikey, no response for ages then 4 in a couple of days. I was starting to think that I couldn't even give stuff away.

OK, I'm willing to split the stuff up, and offer it on a first come first served basis. WHatever's left I will just bin. A shame, but I want rid.

As you were the first to reply, you can have first dibs on the bits. Yes I still have the grill and key fobs. The key fobs aren't tested, as it turned out the receiver on my cossie was probably duff. However, one of them came from my brother-in-law, so it was definately working when he had his cossie.

I'd prefer if you could pick the parts up, as I don't have the time to mess about. I suppose the key fobs are quite small and postable, so if you find out how much the postage will be for me then I could get them into a jiffy bag for you. The grill is quite a large object, so I've no idea how much postage that would cost. Again, if you could find out, that would help. I could weight it and measure it if you want.

I still have the keys fobs, but I've offered them to adowds/Al above, as he was first to enquire. If he doesn't want them, then I'll offer them to you first. I'm not looking for any money for these parts, just want to help keep some more scorpios on the road. The only money I would ask would be to cover the postage.

You can have the water pump for nowt, nothing, free. I took it off a spare cossie that I stripped for parts for mine, then mine failed its MOT miserably :-( The pump is nearly new, still quite shiney. The thin paper-like gasket is cracked a little. You could get another or use your existing one. If you could collect, that would be ideal. Otherwise, I could post if you pay the postage.

The car is long gone, these are just the bits left over, non of which are body panels so don't have paint on them

Anyone for the aircon compressor or tail light fitting????
