I have a brand new set of Mintex Front discs and pads available - 273mm (not Cosworth).

Found out I need 278mm discs for my Cosworth :-(

Will accept £25 + £11 p+p.

Erm not sure if they would find a TD? I'll try and find out.

Yes - they will fit the TD - the part no. is MDK0016

Are you sure this is a front kit?
According to the Quinton Hazell catalogue the 273mm discs are only fitted to the rear on Cossie and 4x4 Mk3's?

Yes, 273mm discs on the front on the following models:-

Ford Scorpio 2.0EFi
Ford Scorpio 2.3
Ford Scorpio 2.5TD
Ford Scorpio 2.9 12v

Hi amigafan, are you sure you've measured the discs correctly as the front discs on non cosworths are 260mm.....273mm would suggest they are cosworth rear discs :)

That spec chart states'V6'obviously referring to 24v,the V6 12v also has 260mm front discs !

I think you assume right Gozz.
Here is an excerpt from the QH catalogue showing all you should need to know. (Hope it works)

Seems to suggest only the 2.9 with wear indicators has the 278mm discs so are all 24v's with and 12v's without them???
As you can see, QH only list 273mm discs as being fitted to MK3's, Scorpio's allegedly have 253mm's on the rear (all models).
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
BTW I am interested in these discs provided they are the right fitment for front of a 12v car.

That's a mysterious list ! no 95 on Scorp had wear indicators,and I have never seen a 4x4 version ::)
No wonder people are confused ! All my funeral Scorps have 260mm front discs,but all have vented rear discs due to the extra weight.

OMG!
Just scoured the Mintex website and they state all but the 24v had 260mm front.
BUT!!! From December 97 on it says cossie has 260mm as well!!!!
And still there's a pad with wear indicators available from them!
Amigafan2003, please confirm the OD and whether the pads do or do not have wear indicators.

I'll double check - I'm very confused now!

If they are rear cossie discs I'm keeping them!

My -95 24V has 253mm vented discs rear. Managed to find the vented discs front + rear + all pads for around 140€ including expensive delivery (35€) from Germany.

my cossie is 1997 and has 278, on the front and 273 on the rear no wear indicators
