are these standard as i have one in my td ultima but havent seen another scorpio with one

Nope, part of an extras kit and/or the Recaro kit AFAIK.

If you've got one you're a very lucky chappie, they're rarer than hens wearing dentures ::)

They were mainly found on the GhiaX but were also available as an optional extra.

Going by ebay sales and what i've seen on this site i'd say £70 is a ball park figure for one

this is how to remove the airbag. iirc, all that's left is a big nut in the middle.

??? looked at the destructions on the site it sais you have to remove various bits from under the car? why i dont know, if any one knows of an easier way i will have it.

ps will send pics of bmw and bits needing on scorp when it stops raining, probably next weekend. let me know if the face lift is being broken cos if you dont want the back seats i will have them. John
