Lucky I had my old one fixed with a little silver solder patch over the hole, gives me a spare anyway (or an investment - not sure which  ;D )

Wouldn't be too tricky to make a bolt up housing to take a standard thermostat with a shut off valve on it.Time is the decider,but when needs must the devil drives. 8)

yes but its made from alloy and the therostat is replasible

hi the measuements are o/o length 170 mm .2no pipes are 38mm and i at 32mm.pic you must be joking.wive just started typing on computer. if you wont a s/hand one pm me

there's a BMW thermostat available the is pretty much the same with an extra mend in one outport, i just cut it off, sure i only paid £20-30.

They havent managed to sell one of these 24v thermostats on ebay yet (100 for sale)

I  contacted them and they cannot drop the price as that is what Ford want for them, you'd think with the rapidly diminishing numbers of 24v's on the road they'd be looking to reduce  the stocks  :-/

My mate has one on a Mondeo 24v in his breakers yard.... I'll go and have a look tomorrow and see whether I can pinch it for research purposes!!
