I have 2 sets of 4 16in 12 spoke alloys for sale .

There may be a few minor marks and scuffs on them and the tyres are not up to much but i am not after much ;)

£60 a set

I am near Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire

They must be very rare then? I saved money by buying a front door from Germany, it was available locally in worse condition and in the wrong colour. I can't imagine postage to have been cheap. A set of bare alloys weigh I guess 40-50kg a set. Luckily I have a set of these on mine, but the winter tires would have looked nice with these in comparison with 15" steel rims. I paid 50 euros for a set of mint 2nd hand steels.

I am still interested in the Scorpio alloys if you are able to take some more pictures etc.

One issue I do have is if I will be able to fit 8 alloy wheels into my Scorpio Saloon if I take both sets.

one on the floor behind each front seat, and one standing up on top of them.

two standing on the back seat and either one in front or above them.
Will get a picture at the weekend if i remember ;)

Other useless information :

a complete exhaust system will fit in a saloon ;D

24v engine and gearbox will fit into the back of an estate ;D

That's great, but I'm still hoping to hear more about these alloys, as a Cossie is not the same without them and my Mrs car needs one in better condition for the rear wheel.

Me want alloys now ???

i wish i'd put my scorpio on here now cos the estate that i got rid of last had a set of mint 12 spoke 16 inch alloys and nearly new 225 tyres on them i just had the scrapman take it away!!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Too late now you naughty boy ::) I just traded a Cossie in on the scrappage,but robbed it absolutely blind,it was a good chance to unload lots of busted old parts which I replaced the good stuff with,including the 12 spokes.

I just get the feeling I'm either gonna have to pay ridiculous price for a set, plus new tyres, or keep my tear drop alloys. which are 205/65's.
A Cosworth really should have these upgraded alloys, especially since my wife's 2.3 has a set of them on her Facelift car.

Have been mulling this one over for a while ::). I've got a set of 17" 5 spokes waiting to go on the cossie, just trying to find the time to clean them up :-/. So the 12 spokes on my car will be up for sale. They arent 'mint' but far from scruffy. There are some kurb marks on them but with me being me they have been painted in with the correct colour enamel. The tyres are as follows...3 x Nankang...5.5mm tread, 1 x Tomahawk...5.5mm tread & the spare has around 2.5mm tread ( yep theres 5 of them ). Overall in descent condition & you wouldnt embaress yourself fitting them. Just need a couple of weeks to get the 17's on. Let me know if your intrested. Cheers...Craig :)
