Title: Re: 24v Carburettor manifold Post by pinto on Sep 9th, 2009, 12:22am Nah, electrics would be easy :) - Ignition on the BOB is handled by EDIS, which can easily run stand alone. Only problem i can forsee is trying to feed three hungry DCNFs - it'll leave you with a petrol bill your grandchildren will still be paying.... |

Title: Re: 24v Carburettor manifold Post by pinto on Sep 9th, 2009, 8:08pm much as i like the slushbox for cruising - theres no way i'd have a BOB on DCNFs without five on the floor }{ If you must stick with auto - best be swapping to a ALD4 from a BOA cossie ;) |

Title: Re: 24v Carburettor manifold Post by scorpio_man on Sep 11th, 2009, 7:45pm hi there i'd imagine you'd get much more power and the noise! oh the noise! ;D :o |

Title: Re: 24v Carburettor manifold Post by twinturbo on Sep 12th, 2009, 7:33am Doubt you would make more power, there's only so much air that can be drawn without upping the max RPM of the engine and 24v's don't rev too high without a fait bit of work. Simply bolting on 3 downdraughts aint going to do much other than empty the wallet. The manifold may be useful for throttle boddies, which if controled well will give and improvement without necesarily hitting economy or drivability. TT |
