Title: Parts off a '95 saloon for sale
Post by Kjetil S on Dec 24th, 2009, 11:33am
I'm breaking my old frogeye and thought I would check and see if anyone here wanted parts.

It's a tourmallard green 2.0 16v

I have:
complete fully electric leather seats
Tinted side indicators
17" alloy wheels with vredestein ultrac rubber
Facelift front lights
Fog lights
Facelift grille

And much much more (basicly anything you'd expect to find on a complete saloon  :)

Probably not cheap  :)

The tires are 225/45 ZR17 34W and have been used a little more than a summer, but haven't been used for 1,5 year now. Plenty of thread left.

Here's a picture of the car (with the tires):

Hi Kjetil S,

I would love the antenna assembly & aerial, the main fusebox cover, relays - white with yellow stripe (very technical I know) and the shorter blue one (should be next to it) which relate to the lights....as I recently enjoyed water ingress and a certain amount of fizzling!

I have some cheek to ask for the right hand side wing mirror & the structure too?   :o

Let me know

Thanks in advance :)

I'll have a look this weekend and see what I can get off the car  :)

Not that easy when covered with half a meter of snow  ;)

Edit: The car, that is  }{

I apologize to all waiting for my reply. We have a bit of a snow problem up here in the north, so it's difficult getting any parts off at the moment. If someone is in a hurry, please let me know and I'll do my very best to help :)

I'm sure we all understand, the snow is miserable for driving and outdoor work...  But really fun for the young: No school and lots of sledging etc.  Let's hope it'll clear up soon though.

I'm making do with a piece of cardboard under the off-side windscreen wiper to shield my fusebox!!

I'd love those alloy wheels but you are a bit far away to come and pick them up. :-[

Where in Norway are you? I have some relatives working in Tromsø. And is the car originally Norwegian or is it an import from Sweden/Germany?

I'm in Ålesund. As far as I know it's originally Norwegian. If I remember correctly, it was registered first time in Norway early 1995.

Hi - I am thinking of taking my right-hand drive '95 Scorp to France permanently and need some left-hand drive headlights. Do you still have, pse?

Theres no such a thing, the headlights are universal and can be adjusted

Stuart

Bill was advised on the mailing list to post a request here as the lever only changes the light from asymmetrical to symmetrical, as mentioned here:
http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/headlighttech.htm

People have said on the list they had to change the lights (presumably with a mirrored asymmetrical pattern) to register their car for permanent use in France.

You learn something new every day :)

Have never done it myself although I was always under the impression they were a single unit, indeed I once searched  the part numbers and couldn't find a left hand drive version.

I still have those :)

The glass on the left hand headlight is cracked, but iirc you don't need the glass at all since the headlights should be separate from the glass.
