Another of our parts hits the obsolete heap according to FMD and Trevor Porter.That little aluminium idler lever which connects the main shift rod to the selector shaft on the A4LDE,it is an assembly with two levers,a rod and two ball joints,and is noted for fracturing,thus no drive.

Further to the above,I find that the aluminium bracket and lever are still available for £80  :( but the link rod which snaps onto the balls at either end is not.I found this out by causing a queue at FMD until the information was dragged out of them.
