Title: Accident damaged 2.3 Ultima for spares Post by tricky_dicky on Apr 1st, 2011, 10:26am I have a complete (bar front o/s corner) 2.3 Ultima 1997 in samakand for sale. Everything was working except radio display pre accident. The rear bumper is cracked. The car is in a garage in Fort William Scotland and would need to be taken away on a trailer or recovery lorry as the steering rack and hub had to be welded just to move it from where the AA lorry left it to the corner of the yard. I have been offered £200 by the local scrappy but would rather it went to an enthusiast than the scrapheap. I will consider any offer of £200 or over. Sad to see the old girl go. Moral of this story don't lend a car to someone with only 3rd party insurance :( |

The colour is samakand it's done 118k. The engine was spot on pre accident and didn't use any oil or water. The auto box was good too changed smoothly etc. The interior is black leather and in good nick, the dipping mirror works fine, four legal tyres and decent original alloy wheels. It needs a wing f o/s and a steering rack. A good project for someone who has the time. Can go to the garage and take some pics if anyone is interested. Must shift it soon as its getting in the way at the garage. |
