Title: 2.5 TD Ultima estate breaking Post by SteveO on Jun 19th, 2012, 3:59pm Sadly it's then end of the line for my Scorpio. I'm going to get as much as possible off this weekend apart from steering, suspension and brakes as I have a buyer for those and they're needed to transport the shell. All engine anciliaries, AFM, fuel pump, alternator, water pump, exhaust, radio, CD autochanger, lights. GENUINE MUD FLAPS! New rear bumper(Sprayed Auralis Blue two years ago) Door cards, electric mirrors, full heated elecrtic seats too if anyone is interested. I'll try to make an inventory and post some pic's next week. Not looking to make a fortune and will donate a cut of all sales to this site as a thank you for the help I've had over the last few years. pm me if there's anything anyone wants. Steve |

Title: Re: 2.5 TD Ultima estate breaking Post by SteveO on Jul 2nd, 2012, 11:25am Last call for bits from the engine bay. http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/ss211/stevework69/Img_0124.jpg If there's anything wanted or of use please let me know as I'm hoping to be rid of the car in a few days. The fuel pump is stuck because I don't have the right tool to extract it, sorry. The only major parts left are the servo and ABS pump(I think, on the left) Everything else has been stripped and stored. Steve |

Title: Re: 2.5 TD Ultima estate breaking Post by SteveO on Jul 2nd, 2012, 3:50pm Will do Matt, couldn't figure out why the rocker cover wouldn't come off after I'd taken the 4 bolts out. It just seemed stuck on the big splined fixing at the bottom front of the cover. It's only when I looked at my photo above that I spotted the block of wood wedged at the back of the rocker box to stop the engine tilting back............ Drop me a pm with details and I'll try to arrange delivery, possibly to Frankley services on evening of Sunday 8th if that would help. |
