I have received information that Steve Savill the owner of Spikies Scorpio parts is not very well. He has suffered a major stroke and will have to stop trading.

Steve's daughter is trying to tie up all the loose ends and get his yard cleared., which will have to be completed in the very near future.

IF any of you need any spare parts for storage for future use etc then please contact them as soon as possible.

Steve has over the years been a great supporter of the website whilst running his business.

This has taught me a lesson to always keep in touch with the Forum, if I had kept in touch I could have collected any parts that I required :o :'(

It would appear from the news received that Spikies Scorpio Parts has now closed completely and efforts are being made to trace the location of the spares he did have before he was forced to closed.

Umm, well if he is I hope he will be happy to know that "The Beast" is up and running, just about to have a new Water Pump and Handbrake Cable fitted by my friend.

Update:

The Water Pump that "buycarparts.co.uk" sent was the wrong one. They took a lot of convincing of this fact >:(. However they eventually came back to me offering a 'correct' Pump for me to buy and a postage Label, saying that if all was well with the returned Pump that they would reimburse my account.

I have offered to buy the replacement Water Pump. I have returned the wrong Pump. I have also asked what the situation is now.

Fingers crossed. as I have not heard from them, yet.
