I'm looking for a diff for a 2 litre 8 valve if anyone has one. I'm sure that this is only available form the one model with the 8v engine although it can be from a manual or automatic, saloon or estate. If you've got one for sale please post me with details.

I've got a differential from a 2ltr 16v ultima saloon. Don't know about its suitability to an 8v but maybe someone would clarify it please.

According to the info I have the diff youv'e got is 4.27:1 and the one form my car should be 4.09:1. If you could check the tag on the diff you have it will confirm the ratio, it's possible the info I have is wrong.
Incidently for all scorpio fans out there my local yard is breaking a saloon just now, the car is pretty complete and could help for those scarce spares we need. They are Stewats car breakers, Station Road Muirhead nr Glasgow. Prices are usually pretty resonable too.
