Good question, I was given the car by my father in law as 2 uninsured drivers had hit the car and he has had it from new and has now lost interest in it. It is R reg, 2.0L 8V, so I guess it was probably made in 96? The bumper did not have any holes for the headlight wipers, but the bumper I have just aquired has the holes, I dont mean to sound ignorant, but I have been reading the site daily, but how can I tell?

an r reg 2 litre.... ???
anyway,the headlights are either clear (pre facelift) or slightly tinted black (facelift)....
also regarding the bumper,if the car does not have the headlight washers,but the bumper you have acquired does have the holes for the washers,you might struggle finding the washers to go in them,sorry to sound a bit grim here,but thats the scorpio for you.. ;) ;)

Thanks for your help.
The headlamp I am after is for a pre-facelift Scorpio, the front bumper was picked up and I will use it for a while before getting the right one for the car, so I am not worried abot the headlamp washer parts.

Pete, Have you checked on parts for sale under 'Easter Sale'. I had a nearside headlight from Steve so the other one may be still be available. They are pre facelift. HTH Simmo

There is an M reg one on ebay, but I dont know if this will fit!.
