Title: Tow Bars........again...... Post by Big_Bear on May 18th, 2005, 4:50pm Hiya guys and galls....... Further to my answer to the last thread on tow bars, (next one down I think) I have a tow bar off a 95 2.0ltr, and it is slightly different at the 'diff' end on my 98 2.3 Ultima. Don't s'pose any one has a drawing or the installation instructions for the 98, 2.3 saloon please...........or further still, a tow bar for the same model?? I'm OK for the electrics etc, it's just the fitting at the 'diff' end. I'm hoping that I may be able to manufacture the bracket if the rest of the tow bar is the same. Post by Big_Bear on May 23rd, 2005, 4:49pm Just had a 2.0ltr, 1995 Scorpio, and a 2.3, 1997 Scorpio Ultima on my drive together, both saloons, and the two 'diffs' are different! This means that the tow bars are not compatable even though both Towsure and Witter are quoting the same bar for both models. Any idea's anyone?? Regards.....Bear.............BBBBBBBBBBBBB |
