Having just spent £400 on front wishbones to pass the MOT, the third and top gears have gone. The car is otherwise tidy and drives well and I’ve become a bit attached to it. It has just given us a comfortable trip round Scotland. I now face a dump or fix decision. So if anyone has a recon or low mileage AL4De box please let me know. If I can’t fix it I’ll be back to offer the car or the many recently replaced parts on it.

I have replied to your pm and I’m very interested. It’s an N reg 2.9 12 valve.
