Hiya guys,

I was just going to buy a scorp mentioned in the title from a dealer with who i had an appointment with to view it for 4 oclock but as i was 5 mins from the show room he rang to tell me it was just sold >:(

The thing is i rang last friday and again this morning to view it and he said it was in the paint shop getting the boot resprayed and wont get it back untill 4 but infact got it back at 3.30 and sold it by 3.45. Hes had this car for weeks without selling it and when i was just about to go and buy it he sells it. Im so fed up its unreal, ive had no car for 3 weeks because of somebody writing my 2.0 ultima off and when i just had found one it goes just as im on my way to buy it.

So if anybody knows of a facelift 2.3 scorpio ultima for sale anywhere please could you let me know, ive searched hard and low and there just doesnt seem to be many about for sale at the moment.

I've viewed it and it's quite nice, good wheels and tyres, bodywork and interior 7-8/10 but 9/10 relative to mileage.

Has three 1" rust spots on boot lid and one on driver's door

Was up for £2495 but has just dropped to £1950. ;D

Im really looking for a saloon to be honest and the 2nd one i went to view today and the bodywork needs alot of attention, its quite shabby and the sunroof doesn't work properly. It slides but doesn't tilt and when i told the dealer about it he made sum lame excuse about "oh this one doesn't tilt" I mean what a muppet, the whole time i was looking at the car he was just sat in his office doing nothing and when he did finally come outside it was like he didnt want to sell the car. It was one word answers and it was a big effort for him to take me for a spin, it was a lovely car, really clean inside but too many scratches and paint bubbles for my liking.

Ill just have to keep on looking

Hi I have a 2.3 16v ghia x R reg Very clean car but it has a head gasket problem ??? pre-facelift model. however it is very cheep :).

Have you looked at Auto trader?, There are several on there. There is also a garage in Godstone near the M25/A22 junct who usually have a selection and advertise in Auto trader.
