I think you will find that they all have vented discs. However they are not all the same diameter (which maybe what you meant) with the 24v using the larger 273mm one. You may be lucky in that they might just all use the same caliper.

Thanks Oliver, All I know is that I ordered some calipers from fordcarparts.co.uk giving the full car details (Ford Scorpio Ultima Estate 2.3 R255 MNP) and the mechanic said they didn't fit you need the calipers for the larger vented disks. One parts supplier told me he had some calipers for the Cosworth but that used larger disks than the 2.3 Ultima. Now I'm not sure if these would fit or not, perhaps I could scrabble under the car and measure the disk diameter.

The calipers for the Estate & the Cossie are the same, it is the bearing carrier's that are different. The Cossie one lets the caliper mount further out so you can fit the larger disks. The non Cossie saloons use different calipers.
The Estate/Cossie calipers are also fitted to the Sierra/Escort & Granada Mk3 Cosworths.

Yes - but I am having a problem with the scrap yard that sent me the wrong ones. They are trying to get another pair rather than refund the money but are having difficulty. If I can sort that out and you have a pair I would be v.interested as the car has been off the road for a month now! Please can you communicate with my email uoapsdb@onetel.com if you still have a pair.
