Climate, hence "Ultima" and "Climatronic" - I'm always surprised when I find a late Scorpio breaking and it's NOT an Ultima!

The Ford garage got me a component, but it was just a regular resistor pack. This is the thing which IIRC takes a signal from the climate computer and outputs 12v (variations thereof) for the fan.

So it is the HBC then (Heater Blower Control)

Yep, though with blown hoses and so forth, I haven't had a chance to work on it and be 100% sure. The fan was intermittent, then it stopped entirely. Admittedly I haven't checked F29 yet, but the intermittent nature makes me suspect HBC failure (yes, I have checked the fuseboxes for water many times, I have all the covers, etc).

Is it repairable? I assume it is some sort of voltage regulator circuit.
