Plastic splines gone on mine.  

Isnt it possible to obtain new plastic splined piece?

I dont know if you can get the splines but I know a guy in coventry who is breaking one (07985512051 - Brian)
I have see the motor still in situe so give him a call he still might have the lot.

Blimey that been dug out of the archive mate.

Thanks anyway for taking the time to reply but i obtained a replacement from our good friend Howie
