I need the bit that converts the big hole, into a small slot for a standard stereo.

I think you can buy a part from halfords that'll do what you want, alternatively, you have to change the dash for the earlier one with the proper moulded panel for standard sized stereo which is what i did!

That's the bit I want - the standard bit. The Halfords bit looks a bit poo.

I have an older dash with a 2007 radio in on a car I'm stripping, I will try and take the dash off tomorrow and let you know if it is anygood.

I bought the part from Halford's, it's actually listed for the Ford Focus (no mention of Scorpio), but I could see from the size that it converts a 1.5 DIN to single DIN.

I had to use some additional strong adhesive to secure it in place (well I didn't have to, it's just my nature to try and make sure everything is doen right).

Looks pretty good now,...good enough for what I need anyway.

I would like the little storage space that comes with the 2007 unit. I don't think that the Halfords bit comes with that.

Hi apologies for the delay, too many beers at lunchtime. I have removed the dash and cosmetically is fine, minor marks on it. There is one clip broken though at the top right by the speedo, that one is missing.

There is a small storage space below the stereo unit and a a slot for a regular sized stereo unit.

All I want is the bit where the stereo goes. the broken clip doesn't sound too much a problem. How much do you want for it?

I bought the same converting frame from ford for my last car, worked nice.! Sounds easyer then changing the hole lott...

(but with that frame u dont get the practical storage slott under the stereo.... ) :)
