Hi Folks,

Today I discovered the lambda sensor on my scorpio was defunct - sheered off at the connection end! Does anyone have one of these or do I need to obtain one at a ford dealer?

My car is a late 1994 (M reg) 2 litre 16v dohc manual. Is there only one type of sensor for the scorpio, and does anyone have one?

I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'RE ALL THE SAME BUT I HAVE ONE FROM A MK3 GRANADA COSWORTH YOURS FOR A FIVER IF USEFUL WILL TAKE IT TO HAREWOOD NEXT SUNDAY

hi there

is it 4 wires and 2 of them are white (same colour, anyway)? that's the type scorpio's use.

Can't say how many wires as I didn't get chance to look closely. I see if I can take a closer look during the week.

lamba sensors are all the same on the 4 wire version (2 white 1 black and 1 grey) what we do in the garage is disconect the original one and splice the wires together using the original plug hope this helps

any lamba sensor will fit just the plug to loom are different

MY SENSOR HAS THREE WIRES 2XWHITE 1X BLACK DO YOU STILL NEED ROD

I.ve 2 virtually new ford lambda sensors, done less than a 1000 miles... any use??

Thanks for all the offers folks, but alas my old bus is up for sale "as is" outside the house and I no longer have a need for one... To be honest it hasn't made a huge difference no having a working one, which probably says something about the overall condition of the engine eh? lol.
