Does anyone have a n/s rear side glass, the small bonded piece in the c post green tint, with or without an inch or 2 of c post still bonded to it for my 97 ultima

im breaking a 95 ultima saloon. you want me to hack it out? if so tell me how and ill do it.

I had to replace one on my red cosworth a few years back when I locked the keys in the boot.................doh!!

I claimed on the insurance and I think it only cost about £40.00

Doesn't affect no claims bonus either.

These side windows are well bonded in and i imagine would be pretty tough to remove without cracking the glass

Baz is right, i tried to remove the said glass from 2 of the scrappers we've had and smashed them every time. I personally wouldn't bother again

Someone once told me you need a Hot knife ane an electrical hot wire gadget to cut and melt the bonding gunge.

Thanks people my insurance is on another car at moment & cost is way more than 40 notes,so have to take harder but cheaper way.THE_MACHINE if you could let me know the cost & the price is right then cut around glass top to bottom at 30mm or so out from glass then cut out inner metal as needed to remove,please mask up glass if using an angle grinder many thanks gary
