rear self levelling shock absorber for 1998 2.3 ultima estate offside wanted. Must be from an estate as saloons are different thanks malcolm

They must be fitted as a pair, otherwise strange handling may occur.

i have to agree you, but some  do fit them individually, especially if its needed for mot, personally i would fit a pair.

Yes i agree also but i thought i might get away with it adding a used unit rather than a new one but if anyone has got a pair i would be interested malcolm

Still desperate for rear self levelling shockers m . o . t   is nearly up and i cant seem to find them anywhere bin on find a part & 24/7 but no replies rang all the local breakers too just to remind anybody who might have some malcolm

Malcolm, Try ringing Bridges at Crawley,West Sussex on 01293/523684. They have two estates in there but I don't think they post parts.

i have a 2 litre estate ultima im braking if the part ur after is the same then may be able to help..what price would u be looking to spend??

thanks for the replies i think that crawley may be a bit far to go simmo unless i get really desperate.I am definately interested in the ones of your estate Stafford what area are you in, i will pay any reasonable price depending on condition just let me know what you want.Do any members know if these shockers on a 2.0 estate are the same as the 2.3  thanks malcolm

hi there

shockers should be the same. springs are different.

look at the condition of the bottom bushes. they're a MOT failure.

i wont be looking into the car proper until tues whern my publican mates back as its in his car park... i have not scrapped a whole car b4 so am thinking of a logical route to it so as a shell is left for the scrappers to pick up...ill talk to john about get them off..do they come off nice and easy??
