My mother in law has broken the power assisted steering pump (for the second time) >:( , so I need a new one.

I need the regular pump, not the more advanced Sensotronic type.

Anyone?

I had to replace the steering rack. After I fitted the replacement rack (unoriginal) there is a little grinding noise if you turn the steering wheel all the way over.
I just turn back the wheel an inch or so, no problem.
My mother in law, on the other hand, cranks the wheel until it stops and steps on it (disregarding a pretty unpleasant noise).

My theory is that the oilflow is somewhat blocked when the steering wheel is all the way to the left or right. When the engine is revved, the pressure builds up inside the PAS-system. The result: heavily worn pump within a day. >:(
