Have you looked at Bridges, Breakers at Pease Pottage?. (A23/M23) They are on the 'old A23' road just south of the Services and Driving Test Centre. It's a case of have a look and take it off yourself if there's one there. ;)

I was down Bridges a few weeks back to get some front heated seat elements to go under my back seats (eventually...!) and i didnt see any derv's there i'm afraid.

Hiya, I ve been quoted £180 divvas for the egr valve..scary eh?...probably will wait and buy a complete car off ebay for that sort of money get the part, and break the rest..but thanx anyway. Just a thought, ...Going to France/Belguim in two weeks ..do you reckon it can be bought cheaper there..cos everything seems cheaper over the water? By the way, This site is brilliant!!

Does anyone know if the valve itself is the same on a 24v
If so I have one with no pipe work

I think the valves will be the same on many Ford diesels (Escort TD one looks very similar) - however the pipe linking it to the exhaust manifold will almost certainly be different.

you are better bypassing it all together this will cut out the black smoke and will get it throw its mot email me for more info .
