I'm also desperate for an IACV for my 2.3 as my present one seems to be going downhill.

Same as the 2.0 isnt it? I should have another one, will check tomorrow

Don't think the 2.0 will fit the 2.3.

I've not tried, but the the plug comes off at a different angle to avoid part of the manifold.

It's interesting, I've read this myth that the 2.0 IACV wont fit the 2.3 because of the new shape of the manifold and I had believed it (as you do). However, because I didn't want to pay the £80 odd for a new 2.3 one, I picked up one with a straight connector on ebay; the part no. is 95BF-9F715-AC (I dont know the finis) - see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IDLE-SPEED-CONTROL-VALVE-FORD-FIESTA-ESCORT-KA-MONDEO_W0QQitemZ260189906279QQihZ016QQcategoryZ21654QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem.

Well, it's true that if you fit it then you cant connect the plug as it fouls the manifold BUT if you connect the plug first and THEN fit it it does go. The bad news however was that, although it was new, it worked worse than my existing 300,000 miles old one - lol!

Anyway, I'm wondering if, since it says it's for a Fiesta, KA etc, that's why it doesn't work well enough.

Finally, HIGHLANDER, since I now know that your 2.0 Scorpio valve will fit my 2.3, would you mind sending it on the understanding that I'll post it straight back if it doesn't work.
