hi there new to this sight,just brought a 2.3 auto and just found that the inlet manifold is split and leaking precious water, would anybody have a good one for sale? much appreciated

Hello and welcome, unfortunately this is a common one on the 2.3 and may just be the reason why the car was sold, new ones from Ford are quite expensive and the general opinion is that its not the best idea to fit a second hand one unless you can find one very cheaply.. most second hand ones on ebay go for around the £100 mark..

Would the inlet manifold from a 2.3 Galaxy fit the Scorpio ?

will try to find out if galaxy manifold is same, if not will have to try and glue and paste the split . thanks for your help.

im in southend in essex , guy in upminster may have one spikies scorpios,will give him a try tomorrow. does anyone know how easy they are to change?

the 2.0 intake will fit, (ive got one fitted to my 2.3) you have to play round with the piping though as the 2.0 intake doesnt have as many vacuume connections as the 2.3
