didnt want to go there as its at least an hours drive in a car with a broken coil spring, but popped over to steve savills place, rather than the hassle of removing the spring he sold me a replacement strut with spring fitted, well, he supplied and fitted it for me £75 all in which i thought was most reasonable.
if anyone needs a spring he prefers to sell the whole strut complete £25, he has loads of them.....

yeah cheers Mike, took me a while to get around to it lol but the car now drives fine, now i gotta find out why the indicators dont flash?? although they do when i use the hazard switch, and also the wipers only working on double speed....
