Thanks Scorpio-man. Unfortunately I am a numpty when it comes to DIY mechanics. :-/ I will let my local garage guy have a look at this print out plus some of the other helpful docs on the site.

When you say it's gone again do you mean you replaced it before?

If so do you have the old one, I can check/solder the pins (shown in the link scorpio_man posted) if you want to send it to me.

I have a spare ABS unit from a 2.3 S-Reg Ultima in the shed - I will check the part number tomorrow and get back to you.

Dave - I did replace it before but did not get the old unit back. (pity cause I read your article on needing more samples to prove your theory!). I will get this unit back when it gets sorted and send it on to you.

Just checked - it says 95GB-2C013-BB on it - make is ATE.
I think there are 2 different types of ABS unit :-/

Do you still have the ABS controller as i need to replace mine. I have the later Teves MK20 system with the same controller as in the link Scorpio-Man referred to above.

Let me know how much you want for it inc P&P please.

Yea i'm still about and still have the old girl. Can't afford to replace her at present, but the way she's going through parts i'll have a new car in the end anyway.

If you feel flush and want to be sure of your 97GG-2C013-AA,you can send it to BBA Reman Ltd at Rochester for repair,but it costs £100 !!
