did you end up breaking it or decided not to go ahead like your post in the problem section?

No I didn't break it.... it is still sat on my drive and I have started to strip the engine to replace the hose. I still can't decide what to do, but figured it would sell better if it was running. I did stick a battery on today and it started 1st time! so there's still hope.

I do think the best option would be to break it though because I would never sell it complete with TV, DVD DAB, and heaven knows what ever else extras I have fitted over the years. This is a vase of it really being worth more as parts!

I broke it :(

Very hard to separate the glass from the plastic - requires much patience.

Recommend you don't try on a Friday evening when tired after a weeks work :'( - especially when there is already a slight chip on the edge of the glass which is likely to propogate to a bigger crack under stress of trying to pull glass away from plastic.

I think you get the idea.
