My local Ford dealer tells me there are no original Ford front wings available any more. We are in Woking/Guildford area and he checked his central parts clearance facility (don't know if that was national).
Anybody know how I might source a driver's side, front, facelift saloon?
Maybe look abroad? Are any pattern parts accurately made, or should I salvage a second-hand one??

ask fordpartsuk.com Trevor is a real miracle-maker. Other then that try ebay.

Fordparts.co.uk etc confirms no more wings.

How we going to fly now? Downwards rapidly I guess!!

ebay is the only place left i guess... few months ago i've seen someone listing brand new/not used Ford parts inc. wings... there should be a few more people out there with new parts stashed somewhere in the attic and eventually they will list them on ebay...
so you just need to keep an eye on ebay and pray for a miracle :)

Pattern parts, not used the Scorpio ones but Transit parts are spot on, i think Baz got his Corsair panels here too ;)

Interesting, thanks Highlander. Don't know why I have been put off using pattern parts - my repair man poo-poo'ed them I think, but itlooks like it's Hobson's choice. Might try one if I can't get a repair done (I have crushed the bottom of the wing by jacking carelessly, and this area is all complex curves and seams so hard to mend without replacement). Repair man said it's easier to simply replace the whole wing in this case. I shall report back if I do buy one, thanks again for the link.

Jeff would it be any good to replace the bottom part of the wing then??

I've done that with a front wing before, replaced just below the indicator downwards with a second hand part

yes I figured a patch could be cut from a spare and let in on my damaged one. I shall speak to my man again, he does a lot of this on old bangers and suprised me when he didn't seem to want to do this, just referred me straight to the paint man in an adjacent unit...who wanted to replace the whole wing. I think I'll do this rather than remove the whole wing, it has to be easier, and easy to disguise the join. I'll let you know.
