Title: rear wheel bearing Post by freerein on Apr 28th, 2009, 1:24pm anyone got one ? i have a 97 estate ultima that is squeaking badly - i can get a bearing from the auto factors but they are £50 and then i have to get it pressed into the plate ugh - lots of fun and very little money in the pot over here! |

The bearing kit is £35.00,if you knock the old outer races from the hub carrier,assuming it's undamaged,you can grind a few thou off the circumference,and use one as a dolly to press the new ones in with a vice,then press the hub gently through the inner races supporting the rear one with a makeshift spacer. GOZZ. |
