Title: Engine loom
Post by v64x4mini on Jun 9th, 2009, 9:39pm
Hi. Just bought a 24V BOB for a donor engine and thought all was OK, untill I clapped eyes on the engine loom. Its shot. Does anyone know where there is a good S/H one? Let me know.
Thanks

it's a bloody hard job but with a bit of spare time, wires, soldering iron, you can rebuild it yourself... don't think you'll be able to find a second one that is much better then what you've got at the moment...

Later ones are usually ok, Dave Howard just sold a good one on ebay a few weeks ago for £40  :-/

As Wojtekor says though, it would give you peace of mind to sort the one you have.

A full Look or full Loom?
I have been told by mumsy not to be offered a full look, only from women!
