Title: Re: Wheel Nuts Post by Jonnycab on Jul 17th, 2009, 1:28am You should be able to get them down the breakers pretty cheap....they're just standard Ford 60 degree taper open top nuts. Loads on Ebay....one here EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FULL-SET-OF-FORD-ALLOY-WHEEL-NUTS-16_W0QQitemZ370230303266QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET?hash=item5633721a22&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A2134%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50) :) |

Presume you are fitting steel rims ? as JC says breakers now remove the wheels when they 'de-pollute' the vehicles, and keep some of the nuts, alloy wheel nuts are a little more difficult because customers usually want them when they buy the wheels. GOZZ. |

Title: Re: Wheel Nuts Post by Kenboy on Jul 17th, 2009, 7:23pm HI Gozz you have me a little puzzled here are you saying that the wheel nuts for fitting steels are different from the ones for fitting alloys I myself will be fitting 16" 12 spoke alloys, please excuse my ignorance I may have missed something here. Cheers Kenboy |

Title: Re: Wheel Nuts Post by gozz on Jul 18th, 2009, 4:23pm Kenboy. Thought you were fitting steels, alloy nuts will fit steels, but steel nuts will not fit alloys owing to there being no outer collar. GOZZ. |
