Title: Re: cossie cats Post by twinturbo on Oct 7th, 2009, 8:47pm Not that I want to make you buy mine, but I have an aftermarket cat on my galaxy from CD.. After about a month the engine management flagged a Cat Ineficient Code. I clear it but it always comes back after a few days. Speaking to a Neighbours Son who is a Mechanic he says that he has seen this before as the cats are often undersize and has also seen cars fail emissions becaus of this.. I contacted CD and they said they have never heard of problems and that I would have to send the CAT back for inspection, That would cost me the price of getting it removed, postage and not having the car. And they are bound to turn round and say it was incorrectly fitted.... So it may be worth a trip to a local exhuast center for a price as they will be fully responsible for it. TT |
