Hi,

I've just bought a 2.3 Facelift Saloon car and it's seen better days, so I'm looking for some parts to bring the cosmetics upto scratch.

The parts I'm looking for are as follows:

Passenger Electric mirror, Front bumper with headlight washers, rear bumper and the lens on the boot (the bit with the Scorpio name on it, not the brake lights etc)

The colour of the car is dark metallic green which maybe Tourmallard, not quite sure?

Any sensible offers accepted for the parts.

the colour is Charcoal Green metallic.

for comprehensive spares, you could try Spikes Scorpio Spares; they pretty much have everything as are specialist breakers of these cars and very knowledgable.
also scour ebay for those odd parts!
Are the bumpers damaged badly? to find another in the same colour may prove difficult, otherwise you could try those mobile specialists who can repair bumpers etc.
my previous experience of them has proved successful

Tiff,

Yes you are right the car colour is in fact Medium Charcoal Green and is no longer available from Ford so got a pot made up in Halfords.
The crack is quite bad on the bumper and the headlamp washer is not working, which I assume is because of the damage. I thought it might be possible to acquire a new bumper and get it sprayed the same colour as the car, just depends on the cost etc.

I will try Spikes Scorpio Spares to see if they have any parts I am looking for.

and watch your feedback if you buy from him....the only negative I ever had in 1100 transactions was from that big daft b****r.

I have a n/s headlamp washer , the early facelift. I wanted the later one and bought the wrong one, I did not know the facelift had two different ones.

I'm looking for front bumper in Medium Charcoal Green which has the headlamp washer units attached. I'm not looking for the washer units on their own.

I've got an estimate for getting the repairs done to the car and it will be cheaper than buying a new bumper from Spike's Scorpios. I am now looking for a passenger headlight washer, which I guess will not be specific to the facelift model and the rear centre light cluster which is specific to the last few cars made.

You need to be local to the North East or be willing to send the parts. I need the parts by the end of October when the work has been booked in for the car.

There are different headlamp washers I'm afraid. The fixing points were different on the facelift and pre facelift cars and just to make matters worse, there were two different types of washer cover too!!

My car is the Facelift Scorpio with black washer covers, so I assume that is enough information to narrow it down to one type? I did see some new one's for sale recently on ebay (not sure if they would have fitted) but at that point I did not have the 2nd car.

No that isn't enough to narrow it down I'm afraid. There are two totally different shaped headlamp covers (both in black) and the washers for the two different types are different two as they have different mounting positions. Do you have a photo of what you have already?

shame you live up north not down south thears a facelift 2.3 on brothers drive with a new bumper on it.the dilerey sheet states heather brown but on epc its medum chacole green .confused.com.
