From what people have said on the site i wouldn't take it for granted what mechanics say about scorpio's. You can check the ABS sensors yourself......... http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/abssystem.htm

Contact ebay seller rsbreakers / sierrashack - he always seems to have them for around £25 - £30 a pair for the complete hub unit with ABS sensor.

Don't try changing the sensor - you will break it trying to get it out.

Strange thing is, on the Mk3 Granada, the ABS sunsors come out quite easily - why did Ford change the design ???
