Hi all, Does anybody have a facelifted N/S rear light unit for sale, got myself a brand new Centre bar and O/S one just before christmas and just need the N/S to complete the set, looked at Spikie's prices and considering I got both my ones new for less than the price of a used one from there I thought I would ask on here first. did they cum with the bulb holders ase the pre facelift and facelift dont swop

Hmmm! thats strange, no bulb holders came with the centre bar but I have already trial fitted the old centre bar bulb holders and they seem to fit perfectly, will compare the others tonight as I wont be fitting the O/S one until I source a N/S lamp as well.

i think its center bar the outsided twin filamint ones that are the problem thear a 1998 part no.thears a topic on hear about a member that looked around all the fords in scrap yards but couldint find them. he finaley had to go to fmc and pay £8-9 each.and the parts man told him that they are just fited to facelifted scorpio saloons.ps did you get the centre bar from a guy in martock

Although it’s a twin filament bulb on the centre bar it doesn’t use the brake light filament. The single filament ones can be used, although it takes a bit of fiddling to get them in the right spot so they work – study the contacts on the holder & the light fitting & get them to line up.
I have a singe filament holder fitted to the twin filament socket on one side of my centre bar.

Bump! still on the lookout for this if anybody has one, got the centre bar fitted and the outside light sockets working, as Tompion says, a bit of a fiddly job but got there in the end.
