Hi to you all out there. Does anyone have a new, in box or new,never fitted towbar for my 97 Ultima Estate. I would prefer Witter (the Witter ref is F59)or Dixon-Bate or as a last resort a Bosal (Swan Neck type,I believe).
I would even consider a pre-fitted one from a damaged and dismantled estate car provided it is in good order and does not need any repairs carrying out to it.

if its the same for the saloon as it is for the estate then ive got a good secound hand one.dave

Hi David,thank you for your reply.The Witter ref. for the Estate is F59 and the Saloon is S49. The difference is that the Estate bar is built in a slightly different way to accommodate the greater maximum towing weight of the Estate (2000kgs) as opposed to the Saloon(1850kgs).These figures are based on the 2.3 16v Auto in both cases.

Hi to you all, problem solved. I have sourced a complete pre-owned Witter tow-bar from a 96 Scorpio Estate.
