Title: Still Looking For..... Post by PJDavis on Mar 16th, 2011, 9:36am ......A nice part-wood Steering-Wheel. The last thing I want to finish off the interior. I keep looking on Ebay, and keep getting blasted 'Granada' type stuff, what is it about people that don't know the difference? Does the 'part-wood' steering-wheel have the Cruise-Control stuff on it? I just got my 12-spoke alloys back from the powder-coating company................WOW! I'll put up pics later-on. Peter |

Title: Re: Still Looking For..... Post by PJDavis on Mar 17th, 2011, 10:41am Fella in Aberdeen has his own business. Finesse Coatings. I gave them to him on a Friday, and they were done by the following weekend. They were in ok condition, but no matter because they do a full refurbishment. Cost £50 a wheel. The finish is absolutely fantastic, even better than in the photos really. |

Title: Re: Still Looking For..... Post by Tenfut on Mar 17th, 2011, 11:19am Thanks How close are they to the original colour, they look a tad grey rather than silver or is it just the photos? Tony |

Title: Re: Still Looking For..... Post by PJDavis on Mar 17th, 2011, 6:54pm Because it's not paint it's a powder-coating, it is a shade darker than the original but a much deeper shine. What I'll have to do now is strip the centre-caps and get them to do those also. ::) |

Title: Re: Still Looking For..... Post by Scorpio_Mike on Mar 20th, 2011, 2:23pm I had some stuff powder coated in silver which I was really impressed with - very silver and not at all grey - dare I say almost 'chrome-like' ? Company called Keep Powder Coating in Uckfield, East Sussex. Very helpful and friendly service. |

Title: Re: Still Looking For..... Post by PJDavis on Apr 12th, 2011, 8:40pm Thanks Baz. It's a bit damaged that one, it would need to be a good-un for that price. I did as you suggested on Ebay Germany, zero returns! I'll need to keep looking. ::) |
