Hi all,

Well I finally gave into temptation and with a few encouraging words from Matt, decided to convert my 24v to manual. With that now done, one of the side affects is no more cruise control :-[ so I am in need of all the cruise control parts from a manual scorpio.

Any suggestions on where to go / parts gratefully welcomed.

what brake/clutch pedal bracket/loom have you used?

just for an experiment fit the old cruise switch and keep the button held in with some tape,

should work again then

You'll need the brackets and switch and loom from a Manual to do it proper

The brake/clutch pedal bracket is from a 2.5 TD and as for the loom, I haven't touched anything wiring wise, just put the swtiches back in the respective holes.

ah ok

well using the auto loom (think it fits??) just plug the brake and cruise back in, should work unless you have the switches backwards?

Nope, all plugged in okay but not coming on unless the pin on the swtich is too far away from the pedal and doesn't engage it?

what switchs are being used mate? auto or manual ones?

There is one green switch on the brake pedal and that came from my auto originally.

ah

you need 3 switches and a loom from the manuals then

the loom is easy to swap, it just plugs into the main loom on the tray where the air bag loom and ignition key looms are

you'll need the brake light switch from the manual ( do you have brake lights currently??)

the cruise swicth which i think was blue and grey

and the clutch cut off switch which is red and back

I have the brake swtich from the auto which is blue. That's plugged in and working fine and that's all I have. I thought I might have them mixed up but the plugs are different so they can only fit one plug.

did you not have a green one before, also on the brake? the clutch one could be left out for now, its just series'd in with the brake one

Yep, I had both the green and blue switch on my original pedal bracket and they are the ones I used on the new pedla bracket.
