Hi. I am after one or maybe even two remote fobs to replace mine as it seems to be getting worse.
Fitting new batterries monthly (Quality ones as well). Re programme but still seem to last only a couple of weeks, and have to be near windscreen to work, but saying that, the boot works fine, even 10 yards or so away...

Have you tried the 'Tin-Foil' trick yet?

Yep. Carbon pencil first, now fitted with tin foill. Reprogrammed OK... But still have to be at windscreen and try 5 or six times ???

Now had the fob upgraded to switches. Works a treat now, every time.

Batteries only seem to last a couple of months though, or maybe cos I use cheapies..

That doesn't make sense, sure the last pair lasted 2 years ~ or could be I don't use it that often? Translate as, I don't go out much ;D

got one here from wat i remember the boot release was a bit tempermental but opening and locking doors was very good. £12.50 posted.
