Hi Folks, Does anyone have a serviceable connection bar that fits between the wiper motor and the nearside wiper arm.
My one keeps popping off at the most inopportune moments rendering the wipers useless. It happened this morning on the M25 which was quite worrying.
The bar is approx 12" long and push fits onto "knuckles"at each end. It seems that the opposite end to the motor has become worn and no longer will stay in position.

Thanks Lee, but the rest of the assembly is ok, so I`ve just ordered a spring clip from EBay. Thanks anyway, cheers Fred.

Recieved the spring clip yesterday and after an hour and a half still couldnt fit it. Whether they come in different sizes or not I dont know. It certainly wasnt as easy as the vdeo makes out.
So, ordered a replacement link from Essex Ford at a cost of £16:38, and it should take three or four days to come in. Meanwhile the cable tie solution will have to do.

Will the Kent Meets be back on this year? I hope so.

At the bottom of the last link I sent click on the section Car not listed, it gives details for measuring/fitting the clip.

When you get the new link arm, clean any rust off the balls that it fits on as that is the reason they wear out. I used very fine wet and dry.

I`m picking up a new link arm on monday from essex ford, so I`ll bear this in mind. Thanks. F
