I think there are three diferent types, 1 prefacelift and 2 facelift. People will need the year etc if they can help you.

Correct. The bumper shapes are slightly different and the tops are contoured accordingly. In addition to being "as rare as hen's teeth'  :(

Many moons ago when this subject cropped up someone did manage to fabricate a washer cover. IIRC the material  was cut from a video cassette case and moulded by warming with a warm air gun/hairdryer?. Maybe Tompion will remember! ;D or even have a better 'bodge' up his sleeve ;)

Don't remember any made from video cassette but did remember Shaun had made some from square gutter, found this, but not much help:

Not having something  never stopped you working out a Bodge though Dave!.  :D
I just knew you'd have some knowledge!. ;)
The photo in the link shows clearly the particular shape in that example.

I can laser cut 3mm acrylic but it won't cut a taper if it helps ;)

The alternative looks like fitting a pair from some other vehicle. The ones on the Freelander 2 look like they may fit with a bit of additional work and seem to be quite reasonable we shall see.

If you look at the last photo in this add  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/austin-cambridge-a60-/181244194995?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a32fef0b3  there is a face lift with front bumper on it. You could give them a call to see if there is covers on it.

I have a pair here, one might need glued as the lock tabs are missing though. £6 including postage if you want them. Sorry I dont have any washers though.
